Product Description
KLM's safety LiDAR is an electrical sensitive protective equipment (ESPE).
It is designed based on the principle of pulsed laser ranging. The system can perform two-dimensional area protection with a scanning angle of 276° and a radius of 4m (at 18% reflectivity) through rotational scanning. Both functional safety output and measurement output are supported, meeting users' needs for safety obstacle avoidance and precise measurement at the same time.

  • Stepped window design: The unique stepped structure minimizes dirt accumulation, reducing maintenance frequency and extending maintenance cycles.
  • Advanced work pattern: The system allows the radar to operate in PA mode (Protection Area + Alarm 1 + Alarm 2) or PP mode (Protection Zone 1 + Protection Zone 2), supporting different protection needs.

Work Pattern
Through upper computer software, the radar's detection area can be configured in PA or PP modes to meet diverse protection needs:

  • In PA or PP mode, up to 64 area groups with different shapes can be configured.
  • Users can assign area groups to specific monitoring cases and define conditions for activating the protection of each area group.
  • Switching between region groups is supported using static control input, dynamic control input, or contour recognition input, either individually or in combination.
